Rules And Regulations For Use Of Certification & Accreditation Mark

All certificates issued by RCPL remain the property of RCPL and must be returned when requested.

Certificate holders must ensure that no incorrect references to RCPL certification system or misleading use of certificates or marks occur.
RCPL Registered Companies Logo is granted under license to those client companies who have obtained certification of their Quality Management System & Environmental Management System by RCPL after successful assessment to the applicable standard.
Where the RCPL Registration Certificate has been issued under EGAC, Accreditation Body’s logo is too used in combination with the RCPL Registered companies’ logo, as applicable.

Ranalysis Certification Pvt. Ltd.  The logo may only be reproduced in a single colour which is unlimited, but where practical should conform to existing preprinted stationery, brochures, letterheads or other promotional materials of the Company.

Use of Certification Marks

The marks shall be displayed only in the appropriate form and size detailed in this clause.

 

  • The certified client’s name and certification number shall be printed adjacent to the marks.
  • The marks can be printed in a single color, which should be the predominant ink color of the document, or, in the case of a pre-printed letterhead, the predominant ink color of the letterhead. The marks can be printed in any size provided degradation and/or distortion of the mark graphic is avoided.
  • The marks shall not be displayed on vehicles, except in publicity material containing the marks as part of a larger advertisement.
  • The marks shall not be displayed on buildings, flags, and promotional materials such as calendars, diaries, coasters, etc. The marks shall not be used on a product or product packaging seen by the consumer or in any other way that may be interpreted as denoting product conformity.
  • The marks shall not be displayed in laboratory test, calibration or inspection reports, as such reports are deemed to be products in this document.
  • The certified clients shall discontinue the use of marks which is considered unacceptable by RCPL. The certified clients shall also change all relevant promotional materials where the scope of certification is reasonably reduced by RCPL.
  • The certified clients shall, upon suspension or withdrawal of its certification, discontinue its use of all advertising matter that contains a reference to certification.
  • Client can use any statement on product packaging material that client has certified management system. The statement shall in no way imply that the product, process or service is certified anyway. The statement shall include
    –       Identification like brand name of the Client
    –       The type of management system certified
    –        The name of RCPL which is issuing the certificate.

ACCREDITATION LOGO

The Certification Marks of RCPL with Accreditation Symbol are:

Use of Accreditation Board EGAC Marks, Logos and Symbols

  1. EGAC logo can be use only when the client’s SCOPE is covered under EGAC accreditation of RCPL.
  2. The logo shall not be used in any way that it misleads the reader about the accredited status of the certification body or the certified body.
  3. The accreditation body’s logo shall not be used on the packaging of a product, labels, publicity material and written announcements etc, that in any way suggest that the accreditation body has certified or approved any product, process or service of the certified body or in any other misleading manner.
  4. The logo shall not be displayed on vehicles except in publicity material like part of a large advertisement.
  5. The logo shall not be displayed on buildings and flags.
  6. The logo shall not be used on the visiting cards
  7. The logos can be reproduced in any size, as long as they do not distort or alter the relative proportions of the logo

Discontinuation of the RCPL Certification Logo And / Or EGAC Accreditation Logo

  1. A client certified by RCPL shall discontinue the use of the RCPL certification logo and / or EGAC accreditation mark immediately when any of the following conditions exist:
  2. A lapse of certification, suspension or withdrawn;
  3. The client has made a change to his Quality System which has not been accepted by RCPL, and which could reasonably be expected to affect the client’s qualification for certification;
  4. The client has failed to implement a change to the system requirements issued by RCPL;
  5. Any other circumstances, which arise, which could reasonably be expected to adversely affect the client’s System certified by RCPL, as identified in the contract agreement.

Misuse and Penalty

Misuse of RCPL certification logo and / or EGAC accreditation mark would lead to corrective action, withdrawal of certification, publication of the transgression and, if necessary, other legal action.
